SIXTH year pupils from all Dumbarton and the Vale’s secondary schools will be staffing Young Enterprise stalls at a trade fair next month.
Our Lady and St Patrick’s High School, Dumbarton Academy and the Vale of Leven Academy will all have stands at the event at the Clyde Shopping Centre in Clydebank on Saturday, December 1.
Members of the public can pop along between 9.30am and 2pm to find some unique gifts in the lead up to Christmas, hear more about the pupils’ companies and show some community support.
Twelve schools from East and West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute are taking part.
Laura McKechnie, a former Dumbarton Academy pupil, joined the area board this year after taking part in the Company Programme in 2012, reaching the Scottish Finals.
“She said: “It’s great to give back and get involved with Young Enterprise again. The programme inspired me to study business at university and I set up my own last year.”
