TWO Dumbarton and the Vale primary schools have signed up to campaign against bullying.

Knoxland and Renton primaries are among more than 200 Scottish schools and youth groups to pledge their support to the landmark #ChooseRespect initiative established by Respectme, Scotland’s anti-bullying service.

Katie Ferguson, service director for Respectme, said: “Choosing respect isn’t always easy and doesn’t come naturally in every situation – but how we behave is ultimately our decision.

“Our campaign will help practitioners to explore this idea with young people – encouraging more respectful and positive relationships in their settings.”
