SCHOOLKIDS from St Ronan’s Primary have helped raise money to donate to local charities over the festive season.

At their Christmas Coffee Afternoon last Wednesday, a total of £460 was raised through a range of craft stalls, a raffle, tombola and the serving of refreshments.

The Pupils Enterprise Group and the Mini Vinnies helped organise the event.

All classes throughout the school made different types of Christmas crafts that were sold on the day.

Parents, carers, and family members all turned up to show their support and buy some Christmas gifts.

A spokesperson for the school said: “It went fantastic, we were absolutely delighted with the response.”

The cash raised on the day will be split between local charities.
