EMERGENCY services are at the scene of an accident on the A82, at Mountblow, near Clydebank.
A man has reportedly been struck with a car.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “I can confirm we received reports of a serious road crash and emergency services are still at the scene."
The incident is also affecting the Erskine Bridge northbound and motorists are being warned to expect delays or find an alternative route.
Traffic Scotland posted on Twitter: "A82 Great Western Rd remains CLOSED N/B Kilbowie Rbt - Erskine Bridge through this mornings peak for collision investigation.
"Traffic is being diverted via Mountblow Rd and is looking very slow in the area including the S/B Carriageway."
