There was loads of festive fun for all the family at Lennox Primary School’s Christmas fair on Friday, December 7.

The wide variety of Christmas stalls proved to be as popular as ever, especially the selection of handmade items which were made by the nursery children and the hand decorated plates, glasses and cups, made by the primary school pupils.

The children loved getting their faces painted on the day and they were very excited to meet Santa Claus so they could tell him what gifts they’d like to get on Christmas Day.

Primary two pupils had organised a fun game of ‘hook a candy cane’ which went down well with all ages and the visitors also enjoyed a hot chocolate and gingerbread to warm them up.

Festive songs from the choir added to the lovely atmosphere and people had the chance to win some great prizes in the raffle, which was organised by the school’s parent council.

Looking back at the event on Monday, Lennox Primary headteacher Mrs Begg said: “We had a selection of all the usual Christmas craft stalls and the children made items to sell at their own class stalls.

“The boys and girls were especially delighted to welcome Santa to the fair.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support Lennox Primary and Early Learning Child Care (ELCC) on the day.”

All the money raised will be donated to Lennox Primary School and the ELCC.
