MS Society Scotland is offering free, virtual sessions for people in Dumbarton and the Vale who have recently been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Living Well with MS offers the opportunity to connect with others in a similar situation from the comfort of their own homes.
There are virtual and face-to-face sessions taking place throughout the year, which are held for an hour and a half per week over four weeks.
MS affects more than 11,000 people in Scotland. It’s often painful and exhausting, and can cause problems with how we walk, move, see think and feel.
Coleen Kelly, Self-Management Lead at MS Society Scotland, said: “We were delighted to receive funding from the RS MacDonald Charitable Trust to help us connect people living in rural and remote areas of Scotland who have been newly diagnosed with MS.
“MS is unpredictable and different for everyone so it’s important that people can access this support in a way that feels right for them and fits into their lives and doing things online does just that."
