Residents in Dumbarton and the Vale are being urged to take care as the current cold snap continues.
A yellow weather warning for ice has been issued by the Met Office and will be in place from 6pm on Wednesday, January 23 until 11am on Thursday, January 24.
Icy stretches are again likely on some surfaces and it is expected that ice on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths will lead to longer journey times.
It is also warned that some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces may also occur.
A Met Office statement said: "Another cold night with a risk of ice, either where surfaces remain wet from daytime showers, or where further wintry showers fall onto frozen surfaces during the night and on Thursday morning.
"Showers will be a mix of rain, sleet and snow, with some slight accumulations possible, mainly above 200 metres."
