Amid the torrential rain which has battered much of the country today, a busy street in Dumbarton has been closed due to flooding.
Riverside Lane which runs alongside the River Leven has been turned into a river of its own - with pictures emerging online of the water-logged street.
The street has been closed with buses having to be re-routed as a result.

This comes after a flood warning was issued earlier today by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).

SEPA’s website says there is a risk of tidal flooding to car parks and footpaths opposite Quay Pend during high tide this afternoon, at around 2.45pm.
Flooding also caused chaos across the rail network this morning as services between Edinburgh and Helensburgh Central and services between Airdrie and Balloch were affected.
