Today's trip down memory lane takes us back ten years to Dumbarton People's Theatre's production of a classic tale.
Here's how we told the story in the Reporter on Tuesday, February 17, 2009...
THE stars of the latest Dumbarton People’s Theatre production, The Summertime is Come, have just a couple more weeks to learn their lines before the opening night.
The classic tale tells the story of a family of ex pats living in Canada running their seemingly successful family business.
But cracks begin to appear in the firm leading to cracks in relationships.
Dumbarton man Tom Gallagher wrote the play, which opens at the Denny Civic Theatre on Wednesday February 25.
Tickets cost £3 and can be purchased from the box office on the performance nights.
Members of the cast pictured are Chris McLaren, Elise Robinson, Kenny McLean, Louise Wilson, William Boyd and Siobhan McCulloch.
