The UK's longest running musical theatre concert tour is coming to Glasgow's King's Theatre this month.

Beyond the Barricade has been delighting audiences throughout the UK, mainland Europe, Asia and New Zealand for 20 years with its live concert portrayals of West End and Broadway hits.

On February 24, however, its illustrious cast of Andy Reiss, David Fawcett, Katie Leeming and Poppy Tierney - all past principal performers in Les Miserables - are set to grace the stage closer to home.

In Glasgow, the quartet will sing through a series of musical theatre classics from The Phantom Of The Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Jersey Boys, Miss Saigon, Hamilton and more before a spectacular finale from Les Mis.

Andy and David devised the tour after appearing in the Manchester and London casts of the stage adaption of Victor Hugo's 1862 novel.

David played the lead role of Jean Valjean in both the Manchester and London Les Mis productions, while Andy has played most of the male characters, including Enjolras and Valjean.

To date Andy remains the only person to take on the job of being the show’s resident director and perform at the same time.

Katie joined ‘Beyond the Barricade’ after playing the lead role of Eponine in the West End production.

She also appeared with the cast on the televised Classical Brits awards and the Royal Variety Show, as well as an ensemble vocalist in the movie.

Poppy, meanwhile, played Cosette in Les Mis' UK Tour and in the West End, and has also played leading roles in Evita, The Witches of Eastwick, and Miss Saigon.

She recently appeared in the new Abba film, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.

Beyond the Barricade starts at 7.30pm with tickets costing £25.20. To book visit atgtickets.com/shows/beyond-the-barricade/kings-theatre/.
