THE Clydebank Rotarians showed their support to local charities by handing over cheques raised from fundraising events.
At a recent meeting, Jacquie Smith from St. Margaret of Scotland Hospice, Carol Ann Gallagher of Bankie Talk, and Jim Watret from Erskine Home accepted donations.
Bankie Talk is the club’s 50th anniversary project and money is donated throughout the year.

The charity described as a “talking newspaper” record articles and events from the Post to prevent blind and partially sighted residents becoming isolated from community news.
The funds being donated are helping to update the technology used to provide the service.
Cheques were handed over to delighted recipients by club president, Colin O’Brien, pictured right with Jacquie and Carol Ann.
