A walking group in Dumbarton is giving new mums the chance to socialise and have fun outdoors together.
Ruth Maxwell started Baby and Buggy Walks Dumbarton last year following the birth of her little boy Noah in September.
The 38-year-old has only lived in the town for a year-and-a-half and says she was keen to find a way to meet other mums in the area and enjoy some exercise.
The group meets weekly and alternates between walks on Wednesdays and Fridays, so that mums who go to baby classes can have a chance to come along.

This week, the walk will take place on Friday (March 8) and will see the group meet at midday at Dumbarton Library before heading off on one of the group’s longer walks to Bowling.
During the walks, the mums usually stop for a coffee and a bite to eat.
In the summer Ruth hopes to also organise trips away to places such as the beach in Troon and Ayr.
