Representatives from the community went on a walkabout in Brucehill recently to identify solutions to concerns and issues.
Community policing officers and councillors Iain McLaren and David McBride joined West Dunbartonshire Council’s housing officers and anti-social investigation and support team in response to worries about anti-social behaviour.
As a result of the walkabout a number of actions were identified and will be implemented in the coming period by the various agencies involved.

Inspector Mo Boyle, from the West Dunbartonshire community policing team, said: “Walkabouts’s provide an opportunity to look at specific areas first hand, speak to people and draw on the experience and knowledge of elected members and partner agencies to come up with ideas on how to make improvements and solve problems.”
Anyone with concerns regarding their community should contact the community policing team on 101 or the relevant agency.
