Woman who threatened neighbours in Kilcreggan is admonished

A WOMAN who threatened and abused her neighbours in Kilcreggan has been admonished.

Angela Jackson, who previously lived at Sunnyside Cottages in the village, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on April 10 for sentencing.

In September 2016, the 56-year-old behaved in a threatening manner by repeatedly attempting to record video footage of two of her neighbours.

Jackson, of East Princes Street in Helensburgh, was also shouting and swearing at them, having only been granted bail nine days earlier.

The offence was one of four committed in Kilcreggan between June 2016 and March 2017.

Defence solicitor Tom Brown said sentence had been deferred for Jackson to be of good behaviour.

He said: “My understanding is that Miss Jackson has been of good behaviour and there is nothing else outstanding.”

Sheriff Maxwell Hendry said: “It was not all that long ago that it looked bleak. You have brought your bad behaviour to an end.

"Today is your last remaining case and I venture to hope it is your last ever. I admonish you; I hope not to see you again.”
