POLICE stopped a car in Clydebank and arrested both people within the vehicle.
A 28-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were allegedly found in possession of a knife and drugs.
Police observed the vehicle on the roadway at Wellington Place, near to Durban Avenue, on April 8, at 7.15pm.
The man was holding a box, which officers believed to contain drugs.

They were detained under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a search was carried out.
During the course of the search, a knife was allegedly found as well as a large quantity of tablets.
Both the man and the woman were arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a knife and possession of drugs with intent to supply.
They were conveyed to Clydebank police office, and detained to appear in court.
