HEAVY traffic on the A82 this afternoon is causing severe delays as the good weather kicks in over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Hundreds of travellers are flocking to the banks of Loch Lomond to make the most of the sunshine, but Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park have reported that several car parks in the area are struggling to cope with the demand, with many already completely full, including at Balmaha, Inveruglas and the Falls of Falloch.
Irresponsible parking over exits is also causing health and safty issues, according to the national park's Twitter feed, with the road to Balmaha closed at Drymen by police earlier on Friday.

Road users are also experiencing severe delays over the Erskine Bridge heading towards Milton and Renton and further on towards Balloch.
Temperatures in Helensburgh are expected to reach a high of 19C on Friday, with further sunny spells on Sunday and Monday predicted to follow a cloudy forecast on Saturday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has issued a fire risk warning for the weekend due to the dry and warm weather, with users of the national park strongly advised against having fires or barbecues, especially in wooded areas.
