A jewellery designer will be coming to Dumbarton Library to show residents how they can create their own unique pieces from wire and beads.

Laura Murray's class will teach participants the tools of the trade and give them the chance to make their own earrings, brooches and necklaces to take home.

The tutor will bring bags of experience to the class having studied jewellery, silversmithing and textiles at Glasgow School of Art.

After completing her masters of design, she set up a studio at Wasps Studios in 2000 and has exhibited at places such as The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh, New York International Gift Fair, Designers Block in Milan and at the Lighthouse in Glasgow.
