A NEW cocktail menu at a Helensburgh bar and restaurant named after Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has been attracting interest around the world – thanks to the man himself.

The Riverhill Courtyard in West Princes Street named all the drinks on their new Five At £5 menu after songs from Capaldi's debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which was released on Friday.

And the singer gave Riverhill's efforts his official seal of approval when he shared the new menu with his 1.9 million followers on Instagram.

The new cocktails include Someone You Loved (raspberry gin, orange and Prosecco), Grace (bourbon, honey and lemon), and Bruises (watermelon-infused gin, lime, gomme and soda water).

Elsewhere in his home country, Capaldi's new album has been celebrated in a variety of weird and decidedly Capaldi-esque ways, including a CapAllDay breakfast at a cafe in Whitburn (sampled by the man himself on the morning of the album's release), a farmer in Hertfordshire naming one of his animals Lewis Cowpaldi after markings which look like the singer if you squint your eyes a bit, and a Cornish pasty maker creating a giant new treat called, yes, Lewis Capasty.

Experts say the album is a cert to hit number one when the new album chart is released this Friday.
