The last of three Dumbarton netball festivals took place recently and there was plenty to play for with the top two schools booking their spot in the West Dunbartonshire final.

In total six primaries attended including St Patrick’s, St Michael’s, Aitkenbar, St Peter’s and Knoxland.

At the festivals, schools played each other in a round robin format with three points for a win, two for a draw and one for a loss.

Following the trio of events, the points were tallied up with St Michael’s and Aitkenbar securing their place in the final on June 13 at Clydebank Leisure Centre, where they will play against the top schools from the Vale and Clydebank.
