The crew of Loch Lomond rescue boat has thanked Dumbarton Academy for a bumper donation of £3,000.
The pupils took part in The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) in an active citizenship programme that raises awareness amongst young people about philanthropy and their local community.
Each participating school is responsible for directing a £3,000 YPI grant to a local charity through a unique programme of teamwork, research and competition.

This year Dumbarton Academy selected the rescue boat as a very deserving recipient.
A boat spokesperson said: "We are hugely grateful for this incredible donation and the pupils' hard work in achieving it."
