Another week and another trip into the past as we delve into the Dumbarton and the Vale archives and take a look at what was going on.

This week, we explored the paper from Tuesday, July 2, 2013, and a lot was going on.

Do you recognise any of these familiar faces?

1. The Loch Lomond Highland Games attracted more than 10,000 people and saw a whole range of traditional highland games competitions including the hammer throw and tossing the caber.
