A BUSY road in Dumbarton is set to close for ten days shortly after the new year.
West Dunbartonshire Council announced the closure on its website.
Bankend Road will be shut to all traffic from January 15 to January 26.
It is understood that this is to facilitate works in the area.
Local and emergency service vehicle access will be permitted by signs or under the direction of a traffic management contractor.
Diversions will be in place.
Diversion route:
- Townend Toad
- Poplar Road
- Lime Road
- Bankend Road
