A RESIDENTIAL road is set to close in Dumbarton for up to five days next month.
Buchanan Street is expected to shut from Tuesday, May 14 to allow for safe access for inspections to be undertaken.
West Dunbartonshire Council announced the plans on their website.
The closure will be in place from the junction with the A814 (Glasgow Road) for a distance of 149 metres.
Only emergency service vehicles, those permitted by signs and those engaged in authorised road works.
Access to all property and for pedestrian through traffic will be maintained.
Emergency vehicle through traffic could be prevented or at least delayed at works moving within extent of the closure.
All restrictions may only be applied in part, as and when signed / required, and will be kept to a minimum.
