DUMBARTON FC have this afternoon issued an SOS to help make sure their scheduled league match at home to Hibs beats the big chill.
With the winter weather taking a grip, the Championship outfit are making precautionary plans for this weekend's game at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium.
And this afternoon they have asked supporter to go on standby- in case they are needed for pitch covering duties.
A spokesman for the club said: "It's possible that we might need to put pitch covers down tomorrow and ask Sons supporters to be on standby to help if they can.
"We will need a team of at least 20 people to help with laying the covers (and again removing on Saturday).
"Keep your eyes on our website and social media channels if we decide to put out the call!"
