AN ALEXANDRIA man who admitted being in possession of an axe and maliciously spray-painting a wall in the town will have to wait until next month to be sentenced.
John Ferguson previously admitted spray-painting a wall at the canal bank near India Street on May 7, 2015, and being in possession of an axe without reasonable excuse at the same time.
Ferguson, 58, of Halkett Crescent, had been told in December that he would have to come back to court on January 19 because a background report was not available.
But the report still hadn't been produced by the time of his latest appearance.
Sentence was further deferred for up-to-date reports until February 21.
