West Dunbartonshire's Health and Social Care Partnership is to be under new leadership from July.

Beth Culshaw will replace current incumbent Keith Redpath at the HSCP, which is responsible for the delivery of local primary care, community health and social care services.

Ms Culshaw has worked in the health sector for over 23 years and currently holds the position of Head of Health and Community Care with Inverclyde HSCP, previously holding managerial roles in primary and secondary care, in community services and in social care.

She said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to this role. As one of the first HSCPs in the country, the partnership is well-established and I am committed to continuing the growth of that integration between the NHS and Council.

"My first priority is to work with the team in West Dunbartonshire to further improve outcomes for local residents.”

Responding to the appointment, Jane Grant, chief executive of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said: “I am delighted that Beth Culshaw has been appointed as the Chief Officer of West Dunbartonshire HSCP.

“Beth has spent her entire career working to improve the health of the people of Clyde and this new role as Chief Officer will give her a fantastic opportunity to build on this. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and leadership skills will benefit the local community in West Dunbartonshire and I look forward to working with her in the years ahead.”
