THE Dumbarton rotary club's outgoing treasurer has been awarded for his service over the past decade.
Club president David Watson presented Alastair MacPherson with a silver quaich, A Scottish Drinking Cup, to mark his June 17 retirement.
He thanked Alastair, who lives in Cardross, for his efforts and dedicated work in keeping the clubs financial affairs in order in a most efficient manner, which would be expected from a retired bank manager.
Alastair has been a long serving member of the club, joining in March 1995 and serving on all the club committees.
Malcolm King will now take on the office as Club Treasurer.
