FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a blaze in Alexandria this afternoon.
Four appliances arrived at Colquhoun Drive today after the alarm was raised at 3.55pm of a flat fire.
However, crews left the scene around thirty minutes later following the use of powerful water jets.
A spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to reports of a flat fire on Colquhoun Drive, Alexandria.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised four fire appliances and an aerial unit to the scene after the alarm was raised at 3.55pm on Thursday, January 25.
“Firefighters extinguished the fire using powerful water jets.
“Crews left the scene at 4.27pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
