Police have released two new images of Mark Connolly, who has been missing from the Alexandria area for more than a week.

The 48-year-old, from Haldane, was reported missing on Tuesday, February 13 by a family member.

It is, however, believed that the last possible sighting of him was around 4pm on Friday, February 9 in the Alexandria area.

Inspector David Quinn said: “Mark has now been missing for 10 days and his family and friends are increasingly concerned.

“Local policing officers are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace him and are being supported by specialist search officers.

“I would urge anyone who saw Mark on Friday, February 9 or indeed who has seen him since that date to get in touch."

Mr Connolly is described as around 5ft 10 with a slim build, short greying brown hair and blue eyes.

He has lost a significant amount of weight in the last few weeks so may appear thinner than usual to those who know him.

When last seen he was believed to be wearing a blue and grey Firetrap jacket, blue jeans and black boots.

Anyone who has any information or who knows of his present whereabouts is asked to contact police at Dumbarton via 101 quoting incident number 3528 of Tuesday 13 February 2018.
