The pupils of Christie Park Primary School honoured Sport Relief recently with a week full of activities.
P3 children kick-started the week, raised money by selling official Sport Relief wristbands. Each school day then included 15 minutes for each class of a different sport every day.
Monday featured the ‘Daley Challenge’, with the children completing a mile, with the next day involving a spot of hockey.
Wednesday was time for some dodgeball, and the children put their skipping skills to the test on Thursday.
A circuits challenge topped off the week.
Principal teacher Elizabeth Campbell said: “They loved it and really got into it. We showed the children were the money was going to help people, so they knew what it was all for too.”
