Police were called out to Alexandria yesterday after residents reported men 'acting suspiciously'.
Officers investigated after the two men were spotted yesterday evening.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Officers carried out a full enquiry however no criminality was established. We would like to reassure the public and if anyone has concerns about someone acting suspiciously please contact us on 101."
