A FOOTBALL team went that extra mile for charity after taking part in a sponsored walk.
The superstars of the under 7s team at Haldane United organised and took part in a sponsored walk around the local area, passing by Robin House on their travels.
More than 30 took part, mostly made up of the youngsters plus some family, friends and their coaches.
Community Fundraiser Scott Maxwell met with the team at their training session to accept their sponsorship money - an incredible £869.10!
Scott said: "Thank you so much to Haldane United for their amazing effort and for this very generous gift.
"This will help us to create lots of smiles and special memories for the babies, children and young people - and their families - who come to Robin House."
