LOCH Lomond Shores attracted a different kind of customer over the bank holiday weekend with their Doggy Market.

The market, organised by Glasgow-based company, Dog Days Glasgow, saw hundreds of dog lovers and their canine friends visit the lochside attraction over the weekend.

As well as stalls offering accessories, toys and treats for dogs, there were also unique and fun activities and workshops, including Dog Dating, Canine First Aid and Basic Dog Training.

Food and drink vendors were also on hand to cater for humans across the event on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30, as was live music from local talent.

Clare Gemmell, Loch Lomond Shores’ general manager, said: β€œIt was amazing to see such a collection of pets, there were some unusual breeds of dog here, and they were all so well behaved.

"Loch Lomond Shores is quite used to having lots of visitors bringing their dogs along, but the high volume at this event was simply spectacular."

Robin Chalmers, Dog Days Glasgow owner, as delighted with how the event went and the great turnout of people and pets across the two day event.

He said: "I opened up Dog Days for my own dog and haven't looked back since.

"Opening up our doggy day-care has been an amazing journey and with our events we hope to bring the same joy to all the owners and pooches as we experience every day."
