AN ASSAULT on a busy Jamestown street has prompted a police probe.
Officers are investigating after an 18-year-old man was punched to the head and chest in Main Street around 6.20pm on Sunday.
The male suspect is believed to have been spotted exiting a black vehicle prior to the attack.
Enquiries are ongoing. Witnesses are asked to contact police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 anonymously.
