CHILDREN'S fitness group Funky Week Monkeys got into the giving spirit last week with a donation to West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare.
The children got together and donated various toys to the foodshare for children who otherwise may not get any this Christmas.
Mary Marra: "It was a very generous donation of toys and we're so grateful to Funky Wee Monkeys and to a ll the groups and individuals who have been kindly building up our stock of toys to put a smile on children's faces this Christmas.
"The foodshare couldn't do its work without the generosity of the people in West Dunbartonshire. We really are so thankful."
Funky Wee Monkeys is a group organised by Julie Smith to help kids live a healthy lifestyle through games and dances that introduce exercise to children in a fun way. It also helps to improve co-ordination, balance, spatial awareness and listening and sharing skills.
