PLANS have been submitted by West Dunbartonshire Council for a proposed new children's play area in Bonhill.
The proposals relate to an area of land in the Ladyton area, where the former St Ronan's Chapel was situated.
The idea is to turn the land into an outdoor children's play area with a variety of equipment designed to entertain kids living nearby.
The application states: "The site used to be the site of St Ronan's Chapel which was burnt down a few years ago and will not be replaced. It is currently rough ground."
The size of the site is believed to be 1480 square meters and the application was received on 08/12/2016 and registered as valid the same day.
The proposals are expected to be decided by members of the Planning Committee in due course.
