The winner of our 2017 Greatest Grandparents Competition has been announced!
Kirsteen McArthur, 51, has won the star prize of £150 and a VIP night at Mecca Drumchapel, including an evening of free bingo, a free meal for four, plus a box of chocolates and four £5 AWP matchplay.
In her nomination submission, Kirsteen's daughter told us: "This is my mum Kirsteen Mcarthur, granny to my son Lucas. She is 51 years old and the best granny in the world.
I have a bad health condition, sometimes leaving me unable to look after my son alone, and my mum goes out her way all the time to care for him and myself and give him the best in life possible. My son is only a year and a half old and whenever he sees his granny you can see the love in his eyes, no one can compare to her."
