Police have issued a warning
POLICE have warned West Bridgend residents to be vigilant following reports of a cold caller.
The man is reported to have appeared at doors in the area and asked householders if they would like to sell their gold or other jewellery.
Any concerns about this type of activity should be reported to Police or Trading Standards, via the community watch helpline 01389772048 or by contacting the Police on 101.
Police Scotland and Trading Standards also encouraged residents to register for the new West Dunbartonshire Community Watch initiative to receive free information and alerts about their area.
