ARGYLL and West Dunbartonshire Police Division are on a recruitment drive for special constables.

A police spokesman said: "We're recruiting Special Constables and are looking for good team players with good communication skills and a desire to help people.
"You will be challenged, you will have to commit long hours to training and you will deal with difficult situations that most people won't come across in their lifetime.
"You will work alongside our police officers, patrolling our communities, preventing crime, attending Events/Parades and interacting with all kinds of people to help keep your local community safe.
"In return, you will learn new skills, have the benefit of excellent training."
