POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the body of a man was found in the Vale last Thursday.
The identity of the man has been confirmed as Raymond Baxter, age 47.
Cops were called to the scene in Halkett Crescent, Rosshead, at around 9.30am.
Police Scotland confirmed the incident is still being treated as “unexplained” following a post mortem examination of the body.
Police enquires are ongoing and officers are investigating the last known movements of Raymond.
Anyone who was in the area of Halkett Crescent on Thursday morning, or who may have information which could assist the police investigation, has been urged to contact detectives at Clydebank Police Office through 101, quoting reference number 0708 of October 5.
