A BONHILL thug who attacked a man with a glass bottle outside a Balloch nightclub has successfully completed a community-based sentence imposed for the crime.
Taylor Young’s attack on the man in Balloch Road on December 20, 2015 was described by a sheriff as “an utterly gratuitous level of violence”.
Young, 24, of Lenwood Gardens, was placed on a community payback order with 18 months’ social work supervision, handed a six-month home curfew, told to attend alcohol and anger management counselling, and ordered to carry out 300 hours of unpaid work – the maximum allowed – within nine months.
Young appeared at a review hearing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday, when Sheriff William Gallacher was told Young had done what was required of him under the order.
