ARE you brave enough to take on the mighty crane?

There are only says left to sign up for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland's Big Abseil in the dark.

This event offers an incredible 150ft leap of faith at night from the Titan Crane on Saturday, March 25.

This thrilling new night-time challenge will start in the evening giving people the chance to abseil during sunset, dusk or nightfall experiencing the rush of abseiling down one of Scotland's famous monuments under the stars as they gaze across the famous Skyline.

Andrea McIntyre Event Manager said "We're so excited about our first night-time abseil and can't wait for participants from across Scotland to come out in force and show their courage by signing up and raising money for a great cause along the way. We are encouraging people to be bright! Glow in the dark clothing and face-painting is highly recommended as we have spot prizes for the brightest participants!

"You can sign up for this ‘glowing' new event for just £20 with a pledge to raise an additional £120 in sponsorship which will provide vital support for those with chest, heart and stroke conditions across Scotland. Access to the top of the crane is by a fully accessible glass lift, 150 feet up to the top."

No previous experience is needed to take part: it's suitable for most people over 16 years of age; however, parental consent is required for 16 & 17 year olds. A team of highly skilled instructors will make sure the night-time abseil experience is memorable from start to finish.
