THE deadline for businesses to submit applications to the inaugural Working4Business Awards 2017 has been extended.

The closing date for applications is now 5pm on March 31 with all finalists being featured in the media and the winners announced at an awards dinner at Clydebank Town Hall hosted by TV presenter and broadcaster Kaye Adams.

The Working4Business awards provide an opportunity for businesses, organisations and individuals to appear in the spotlight and celebrate their achievements. The awards are free to enter and any business in West Dunbartonshire can apply for as many of the nine categories as they wish.

Michael McGuinness, economic development manager for West Dunbartonshire Council said: “The Working4Business awards provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase the strength of the business community in West Dunbartonshire and businesses can reap great benefits from being recognised. I urge any businesses that have yet to submit their applications to do so as soon as possible.”

Some of the categories include Most Promising New Business Award – Sponsored by Business Gateway; Excellence in Customer Services Award – Sponsored by the Wheatley Group; Developing the Young Workforce Award – Sponsored by West College Scotland; and many more.
