A DUMBARTON woman who admitted possession of a quantity of heroin has been handed the legal equivalent of a slap on the wrists.
Pamela McBarron, 35, was not present at the town's sheriff court on Thursday when she was admonished and dismissed for possession of the class A drug diamorphine at a property in Ashton View on October 24.
Sentence had been deferred for good behaviour and for McBarron to appear in person before the court.
And though she failed to fulfil the second of those requirement, McBarron nonetheless received an admonition from Sheriff William Gallacher after fiscal depute Carol Cameron confirmed a statement by defence agent Lauren Kerr that her client had stayed out of trouble.
