RESIDENTS from Dumbarton and the Vale are invited to take part in the Bernese Mountain Dog World Wide Walk this weekend.
Taking place at Balloch Castle Country Park on Sunday, April 23 the walk is a chance to locals and their four-legged pals to go walkies.
Following on from the success of last year's event, the walk can see up to 30 pooches take part in the event.
As well as dog owners, the paw patrol also welcomes those who don't have a pet but are interested in meeting new people and enjoying a stroll around the park.
Pat Paterson, one of the event's organisers, is looking forward to the annual get together.
"The walk really is a great day," she told the Reporter.
"We can have up to 30 dogs on the walk with us so it's quite a sight.
"Everyone is welcome to come along and we're looking forward to seeing walkers old and new."
The walk will kick off at 12 noon this Sunday.
