POLICE are hunting a group of young thugs after a family of three were pelted with stones, spat at and challenged to fight during an evening stroll.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Sunday night between 8pm and 8.30pm in Balloch country park.
It's understood that a 51 year-old mum, from Dumbarton, along with her 12 year-old daughter and 15 year-old son, were subjected to verbal abuse, spat at and challenged to fight by the group, who are also alleged to have thrown stones at the family.
Police are appealing for information in relation to the incident are are appealing for anyone who was in the park at the time who witnessed anything to come forward.
