Fire brigade rushes to West Dunbartonshire Council's Garshake office amid reports of electrical fire
WEST Dunbartonshire Council offices were evacuated this afternoon following a 'small fire'.
Two Scottish Fire and Rescue appliances and an aerial appliance made their way to the Garshake Road building after receiving a report of a blaze at 4.24pm.
A spokeswoman for the service confirmed at there was a small fire within a light fitting, understood to have been situated on the third floor.
Local authority staff returned to the build just after 5pm.
