A DUMBARTON man with a string of court cases following behind him has been locked up for a week.
Anthony Connelly, previously of Cumbrae Crescent South, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week on seven cases dating back to 2016 and 2017.
But updated reports on 34-year-old Connelly were less than impressive to Sheriff Maxwell Hendry.
He said: “This is atrocious. This is totally unacceptable. This is not going to continue.
“One solution is to keep you in prison for as long as I can. I’m at the end of my tether.”
Sheriff Hendry remanded Connelly in custody while enquiries were made to Safe As Houses as to whether they could accommodate him. He will return to court on March 22.
One of the now oldest cases involved him shouting, swearing, acting in an aggressive manner and repeatedly uttering offensive remarks on February 9, 2016, while on bail.
