The body of a Haldane man police believe to be Mark Connolly has been recovered from the River Leven this morning.
Police were called to a report of a body in the River Leven, near to Renton, at around 9am on Thursday, March 22.
Emergency services attended and the body of a man was recovered from the water.
Formal identification is still to take place, however this afternoon Police Scotland said they believe it to be Mark.
Mark's family have been informed.
The 48-year-old former steelworker was reported missing from Alexandria on Tuesday, February 13.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
