Dumbarton FC recently welcomed 120 people to the C&G Systems Stadium’s first ever murder mystery event.

With the mystery solved by local man Dave ‘Kit’ Carson, the club’s commercial manager Alan Findlay described it as “the ideal evening.”

Alan explained: "The idea for a Murder Mystery Supper came from Sons' fan Gillie Brough, and the amount of work she and her fellow supporters put in to make it such a success is incredible.

"We raised nearly £2,000 - and just as importantly brought a whole range of new folk from the community through the stadium doors.”

The evening included more than fine food from caterer Robert Sloane and professional actors from Killer on the Loose. There was also a high raffle with top prizes from local firms, including a hot tub weekend won by Rhona Hatcher.

Alan added: We want people in and around Dumbarton to see the club as a place where they can come for top quality local events and facilities, alongside the football."
